Introducing the Sybil Sweatshirt + launch discount 🎉

Dear readers,

I am so excited to finally introduce you to my newest pattern, the Sybil Sweatshirt.

This design started as a desire to create a comfortable knit top that could still look refined and structured. As someone who travels often, I am always looking for layers that feel cozy during long flights but still look polished when I arrive. Sybil quickly became that perfect piece. Made in a stable knit like Milano, it resists wrinkles beautifully and transitions seamlessly from travel layer to work top. I find myself reaching for it again and again when I need something that feels elevated but effortless.

While styling the samples, we also discovered that Sybil works beautifully as a blouse. If you want to wear it on its own, simply size down and tack the neckline if you prefer a little more coverage.

Sybil features a wide lapel collar and deep V neckline, giving a nod to classic tailoring while remaining relaxed and easy to wear. The slightly oversized body and sleeves that narrow at the hem make it the perfect layering piece across seasons. You can wear it tucked into trousers or skirts for a more polished look, or loose over jeans for an effortless, chic feel.

It can be sewn entirely on a regular sewing machine using a stretch stitch or an overlocker. A coverstitch machine is not required.

Sybil is available in two size ranges, 34–46, drafted for a B/C cup and featuring two pleats at the bust, and 46–60, drafted for a DD cup for a comfortable and flattering fit.

Fabric suggestions

For Sybil, I recommend stable to medium-weight knits with structure and recovery such as Milano knit, ponte, double knit, interlock, or sweater knit.
Fabrics with less stretch will highlight the architectural collar, while those with more drape will create a softer appearance. Lightweight knits are not suitable, as they will not support the collar and neckline properly.

Sizing and samples

I am 5'3" (1m60) and I wear the grey Milano and oatmeal sweater knit samples in size 34 with no modifications.
Lilli is wearing the brown Milano sample in size 50 with no changes.
Pauline wears the red version in size 46 of the 34–46 size range with the sleeves lengthened.
