Extended Stephanie Skirt - Tester Round-up

Extended Stephanie Skirt - Tester Round-up

Hello!

Today I’m happy to show you the lovely versions sewn by our tester group for the extension of the Stephanie Skirt. Since we completely regraded the pattern, we tested across our entire new size range, from size 34 to 56 (read more about the update on the Stephanie Skirt pattern). Let’s jump right in!

The Classics

Brie, figuereight, sewed size 50 in actual Carolina Herrera fabric. I love the belt addition!

Isa (her blog and on Instagram) sewed size 44 for a classic timeless skirt!

Kathleen made this beautiful skirt in size 56 in fuchsia cotton. Such a happy color!

Yiling stitched this beautiful Stephanie in size 36 using a rayon/polyester suiting. She already made a new version since the test was over!

Douce, whom you can find on Instagram at Lovelycurve, made this romantic Stephanie in size 54 using cotton.

Laurène, of Les Pleurnicheuses blog and Instagram, sewed size 40 in a polyester/rayon blend and removed 3cm of length.

The Prints

The gorgeous Keira, IslandSewcialist, sewed Stephanie in size 44 in a stunning print wax cotton.

Judy, a custom clothier, used size 46 also in a gorgeous wax cotton print! Her styling is ON POINT and her puppy is super cute!

Sophie of Les Surprises de Louise stitched size 40 in a cotton plaid with some stretch:

Beth of Threesheeps is a professional dressmaker, you can find her beautiful work here. She used this gorgeous floral print for her Stephanie Skirt in size 48:

Christina of Titana Sews used a beautiful cotton lawn with a tropical flower print in size 50:

Kynthia, who is on a mission to sew 100 projects this year (!!) sewed size 48 also in a stunning floral cotton:

Another Christina, chrichrimano, sewed size 54 in quilting cotton. She said about the pattern:

I have sewn a similar pattern before but it ended up "poofy" in all the wrong ways. The Stephanie skirt is really well thought out with volume cleverly placed in the right places.

The Linens

Eleonora of io_e_Carlotta sewed her version in linen in size 42. She added 17 cm of length:

Sherrene also used linen for her version, in size 36:

Unusual fabric choices

Ashlee used size 52 in linen/polyester burnout fabric that looks like an animal print. The skirt is completely underlined and she closed the beginning of the pleats so that the skirt flares out lower.

Abi of The Sewn Edge used size 44 in pleather, so cool!!

I want to take this opportunity to thank all my testers publicly for their patience and amazing feedback. Their contribution is truly priceless!

I hope that those beautiful skirts got you inspired and don’t forget that you only have a couple of days left to get the Stephanie skirt pattern at 20% off!
