Project for the pattern review RTW contest

FrontBackFlatREVIEW FROM PATTERN REVIEWPattern Description: I draped the pattern for this skirt in my class at FIT for the peg skirt project. I first made it out of muslin. The general idea is to start from the back (grainline at the CB) and to raise the CF to form the pleats.Pattern Sizing:My own as I draped it on a dressform made to my measurements (THANK YOU Andy's Dress Form in NYC).Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?I think it does look like the original even though the checks are bigger on mine. Were the instructions easy to follow?Totally as i made them up !Basically :1. Sew the back seam2. Bast the pleats closed3. Repeat for the lining4. Stitch the lining and the skirt at the hem (understitch on the lining)5. Baste lining and skirt at the waist, stitch to the waistband6. Slipstitch the other edge of the waistband, add closure (hooks and eyes as it is a wrap skirt).Fabric Used:Flannel from Paron's Fabric for the outside (got it on sale as they were changing location).Gold bemberg lining from stash. Conclusion: I looooove it but I didn't get to wear it yet as spring has started already... Waiting for the fall?
