The Julia Jeans sewalong is live on YouTube, and I’m so proud to share it with you.
This is the first time I’ve been able to film a full tutorial with proper equipment: lights, multiple camera angles, and a clear plan from start to finish. It’s still not perfect, but it’s a big step forward from my first attempt with the Freja Vest, and I think you’ll notice the difference.
In the video, I take you through every part of sewing the Julia Jeans. From selecting fabric and notions to installing the zipper and hemming at just the right length, I share all the techniques and little tips I’ve learned over the years of sewing denim. Whether you are making your first pair of jeans or your tenth, and whether you are using the Julia pattern or not, I think you’ll find something useful.
