The dress that feels as good as it looks!
Estelle is a refined knit dress that combines timeless elegance with effortless comfort. It features a softly draped cowl neckline integrated into the front bodice, a bust with negative ease, a fitted waist and an A-line skirt that flares gently to mid-calf. The long trumpet sleeves widen from the elbow for a graceful silhouette, while the shaped center back seam provides subtle contouring and a flattering fit.
The back neckline is finished with a clean binding, and all hems are overlocked and hand-catch-stitched for an elegant finish. The construction can be completed with an overlocker or a regular sewing machine using a stretch stitch. A coverstitch machine is not required for this pattern.
Estelle is drafted for a height of 5'5 "(1m65). It is available in two size ranges: 34–46, drafted for a B/C cup, and 46–60, drafted for a DD cup. All pattern pieces include lengthen/shorten lines for easy adjustments.
For this pattern, I recommend medium-weight knit fabrics with drape, horizontal stretch, and recovery, such as viscose, bamboo, or Tencel™, wool jersey, silk jersey, interlock, Milano, or sweater knits.
I am 5'3 (1m60), and I wear the brown velvet jersey and forest green wool versions in size 34, graded to 36 at the waist and hips. Lilli is wearing the blue velvet sample in size 52 with no modifications. Pauline wears the grey sweater knit sample in size 46 of the 34-46, with added ease at the waist and length to the sleeve.

Sizing
I draft and grade my sewing patterns for a height of 5’5” (1.65m) from size 34 to 60 (see below). When applicable, the size range is divided between 34-46, developed for B/C cup size, and 46-60, developed for a DD cup size.
If your body measurements are at least one size outside of the size range, I grade up or down at no cost.

This is a PDF sewing pattern, you will receive access to a download link immediately after completing your purchase.
Files are delivered in a zip file meant to be decompressed. The zip file contains:
- Instructions in English and in French with: a cutter's must, a printing layout, an order of operations, and step-by-step illustrated instructions.
- Layered PDF patterns pieces for both size ranges in 3 formats: print at home for US letter or A4, A0, and Projector;
You need to open the pattern files with Adobe Reader and ensure that printing options are set to "Actual Size" or "Custom size 100%".
