Milla is a long-sleeved fitted knit top - your new go-to piece to elevate your daily wardrobe without compromising on comfort. It features an elegant draping tied to the right side and a face-framing funnel collar that is folded over.
The pattern also includes a regular fitted t-shirt variation without the side tie, finishing at the high hip. The bateau neckline can be finished either with the foldover collar or a regular neckband.

The cover samples are made in a polyester sweater knit, cotton jersey, merino wool jersey, linen jersey and bamboo jersey.
For this pattern, I recommend knit fabrics with some body, such as cotton jersey, interlock and ponte. Drapier knits such as linen knit can also work well.
If you want to use the foldover collar, I suggest staying away from very soft knits such as bamboo or viscose knits as the collar might not hold its shape. Alternatively, you can also fuse the collar with knit fusible interfacing.
Self fabric is used to finish the neckline but you can also use ribbing.
For reference, I wear the green sample with the basic body and foldover collar in size 34 with no alterations, and the grey tie with foldover collar and white basic samples are also size 34 but with the sleeves shortened. Lilli wears the baby blue tie version with an interfaced foldover collar in size 52 with no alteration. Sylvia wears her cyan Milla with the basic neckband in size 44 with shortened sleeves.

Sizing
I draft and grade my sewing patterns for a height of 5’5” (1.65m) from size 34 to 60 (see below). When applicable, the size range is divided between 34-46, developed for B/C cup size, and 46-60, developed for a DD cup size.
If your body measurements are at least one size outside of the size range, I grade up or down at no cost.

Files are delivered in a zip file meant to be decompressed. The zip file contains:
- Instructions in English and in French with: a cutter's must, a printing layout, an order of operations, and step-by-step illustrated instructions.
- Layered PDF patterns pieces for both size ranges in 3 formats: print at home for US letter or A4, A0, and Projector;
You need to open the pattern files with Adobe Reader and ensure that printing options are set to "Actual Size" or "Custom size 100%".
